MEANING OF LOGO
SUNDAR means “beautiful” in Sanskrit.
Sanskrit is one of the ancient languages of India. Sanskrit belongs to one of the oldest documented members of the Indo-European family of languages and is related to Greek and Latin.
The peacock colours are vivid and draws from brush strokes from fine art.
The S curve of the peacock form and the Sa of the Hindi script is reflected. The S curve also symbolizes “Surrey” which is the host city for Sundar – World Exposition of South Asia and the Cultures of Surrey.
The peacock is essentially the Indian national bird.
The peacock has inspired Indian and South Asian art in all fields including classical dance, music, and paintings.
Also known as the vehicle of Lord Muruga (son of Shiva and the commander of the army).
