
MEANING OF LOGO
SUNDAR means “beautiful” in Sanskrit.
Sanskrit is one of the ancient languages of India. Sanskrit belongs to one of the oldest documented members of the Indo-European family of languages and is related to Greek and Latin.
The peacock colours are vivid and draws from brush strokes from fine art.
The S curve of the peacock symbolizes “Surrey” which is the host city for Sundar – Exposition of the World’s Cultures.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
The logo was created October 26, 2015 by local award winning graphic designer, Vinay Giridhar. Vinay completed the Digital Graphic Design Program at Vancouver Community College and a Diploma in Classical Animation at Vancouver Film School.
